Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you??ll do on a typical day:Write winning responses to Requests for Proposals, delivering value-added, comprehensive, and competitive solutions; support sales teams in authoring proposals for large, complex 3PL, 4PL, and LLP projectsFully and accurately define supply chain requirements and the solution approach while ensuring the gathering of accurate information and performing detailed solution designDevelop value-added approach to supply chain challenges employing analysis, innovation, and experience within the target market; perform modeling or direct a modeling team for more complex solution designDeliver qualitative and quantifiable supply chain value; describe the solutions and present to customerIdentify and implement improvements to existing operationsPerform analyses; understand the use of optimization/decision support tools to perform global supply chain studies, routing optimization, and transportation rate analysesWhat you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you??ll need:Bachelor??s degree5 years of supply chain experience; preferably both international and domesticExperience with truck, ocean, rail, and air transportation; inventory management including DRP and MRP; warehouse site selection, material handling experience, facility design, and operations; consultingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Project, PowerPoint), Visio, and optimization tools like INfor Supply Chain Design and Transportation Planner (formerly SSA Global and CAPS Logistics) and/or i-Log and simulation tools (like AutoMod, Arena, etc.)Proficiency with logistics decision support systems in the areas of routing and scheduling, distribution network design, resource planning, load planning, warehouse design, and inventory planningKnowledge of state-of-the-art technology and supply chain best practices, warehousing, and transportationUnderstand global trade requirementsIt??d be great if you also have:Master of Science or MBAExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceFamiliarity with INCOTERMSProven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach, and influence employeesStrong business, financial, quality, and project management skillsStrong analytical skills, including spreadsheet and databaseBe part of something big.XPO provides cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the world's most successful companies, including Disney, Pepsi, L'Or al, Toyota and many others.
